I am a 34-year-old artist/maker who has Down syndrome.

Every great adventure starts somewhere...

During COVID. I hardly left my home for 7 months. It was a tough time and I missed my friends so much.
So I started making jewellery.

‘Maroondah Resilient Artist ’ award in 2021

Later in 2021, I won the Maroondah Arts and Resilience Award,

which was launched by Maroondah City Council to celebrate the creative community’s contributions and adaptations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A journey I'm proud of

Since then, I've sold my jewellery all over Australia and at markets around the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I've met so many wonderful people and make amazing friends along the way.

I had an art exhibition in 2022, and am planning for a another one in 2026/27.
